Administrative Support Officer


Reports to:

General Manager, Operations 
with a secondary accountability to the Office Coordinator (Broadford)

Primary Function

Provide administrative support necessary to ensure the efficient functioning of the Alexandra office – including reception duties, clerical support and general office tasks. The role will also involve supporting the elected Taungurung treaty Assembly representative, as requested.

Key Duties

  • Attend to/ organise the following: 
    o   Answering incoming phone calls
    o   Staff amenities
    o   Maintain clean and tidy reception area
    o   Filing, photocopying etc, as requested
  • Provide administrative support to the Cultural Heritage Program Manager, as requested
  • Provide administrative support to the TLaWC treaty Assembly representative, including:
    o   copying and distributing documents for consultative meetings
    o   organising meetings for people wanting to meet with the treaty rep
    o   organising catering
    o   other support tasks as necessary
  • Provide advice to the TLaWC Fleet Manager in relation to:
    o   Maintenance arrangements of TLaWC vehicles based in Alexandra
    o   Logbook maintenance
  • Provide other admin assistance as requested by the General Manager (Operations)

Selection Criteria

  • Some experience in office admin activities
  • Computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite
  • An aptitude for administrative functions (organising, filing and communicating)
  • An ability to use time efficiently
  • An ability to use time efficiently
