Gould League Sessional Environmental Educators should be:
- Appropriately qualified and/or experienced i.e. Tertiary qualification in Science/Environment/Geography/Conservation/Education or with equivalent work experience
- Highly effective and confident educators who utilise a variety of strategies to engage students and address visiting teacher needs
- Knowledgeable and positive about the environment and sustainable practices

This role is for a Sanctuary Field Officer employed by Odonata Foundation.
The role will be to deliver threatened species program services across the Widgewah Conservation Reserve.
It is a part-time position (0.5 FTE) commencing (July 1 2022) for 12 months.
The Field Officer provides applied field and ecological support across the site to assist wide ranging conservation and threatened species management functions, using professional expertise via the Odonata management team to shape practical decisions and solutions.
The role requires a sound and broad understanding of applied ecology in a conservation and threatened species context, having a particular focus in supporting the delivery of threatened species conservation and restoration of habitat at the Widgewah Sanctuary (Mt Rose property).

RPV is seeking to engage a Cultural Heritage Engagement Advisor. The Cultural Heritage Engagement Advisor will support the Land, Planning & Environment team in providing high-quality strategic advice for the delivery of the rail infrastructure projects delivered by MTIA, including the Metro Tunnel Project, Regional Rail Revival, Melbourne Airport Rail, and the Western Rail Plan including fast rail between key regional cities and Melbourne. It will require an ability to work in a complex environment within tight timeframes. This role will require an ability to provide specialist advice regarding Indigenous community engagement as well as the ability to build positive relationships with key stakeholders from a diverse range of community groups, and to assist with coordination and engagement activities associated with the cultural heritage management process.
In this role you will work closely with relevant community groups and other stakeholders to identify opportunities, as well as develop and implement strategy.

North East Water
Role: North East Water is offering a opportunity for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander to become an Independent Aboriginal Member of the North East Water Board.
The one-year, part-time role would enable the successful applicant to develop the skills and experience to be a candidate for a full directorship within the water sector. During the membership period, there would also be the opportunity to provide insight into matters relating to urban water management and its connection to the Aboriginal community and Traditional Owners.
The membership will provide the opportunity to develop skills in the areas of strategic planning, managing risk, governance and oversight of the Corporations operations.
The internship runs from August 2022 until July 2023, with a significant induction offered.
