DESCRIPTION:We will be having our first Cultural Camp for the year at Camp Jungai over the weekend of 6-7 April 2019. The primary focus of the camp will be preparation and practice of our dance group\, Taungurung Ngarrgi\, which we will be launching as a service that TLaWC offers to the wider community. \nSince the performances at the Camp Jungai handover (October 2018) and the RAP Forum at Nagambie (November 2018) there has been feedback suggesting that this is something that should be presented to the wider community on an ongoing basis. We are therefore going to launch this service and open bookings for Taungurung Ngarrgi through the TLaWC website from late April 2019. \n

TCAC’s Shane Monk will perform a Cooloamon cutting. There will also be a bush tucker ‘walk and talk’ with Brad Letman and weaving with Aunty Lee Healy. \nA delicous lunch will be included in the cost price of $20 pp. \nThe event is to be held in the surrounds of the Euroa Arboretum where there is 27 hectares of native bushland to explore.
